Our staff and volunteers work hard to fulfill this mission every day.What will you do:You will be the main point of contact for members contacting HomeTown by phone and online. You will identify their financial and banking needs, consider their best interests, and provide them with personalized financial solutions. You will work on developing trust and strengthening relationships with members by educating them and recommending products and services that will help them achieve financial success and simplify their lives. It is our goal to provide a friendly HomeTown experience for members by consistently providing exceptional service, asking them for business and proactively following up with them on future opportunities.What you have:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years credit union or banking experience
  • 1+ years customer service experience
  • 1 year of related work experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow security protocols
  • Consumer lending experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to learn new software.
  • Collaborative attitude and team player
  • Handle change in a positive manner.
  • Ability to work in an environment of urgency, which demands flexibility and on-the-spot sound decision making.
  • Ability to get along with others in stressful, high-pressure situations while maintaining a business-like composure.
  • The ability to work independently, utilizing analytical skills, organizational techniques, and the effective use of time management.
