Job Description:

F5 Firewall Automation:

Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible to manage F5 firewalls.
Automate the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of F5 firewall rules and policies.
Network Operations:

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and security.
Work closely with network and security teams to integrate automation solutions into existing network infrastructure.
Security Compliance:

Ensure that all automated solutions comply with industry standards and organizational security policies.
Conduct regular audits and compliance checks on firewall configurations and policies.
Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities to improve network operations and security through automation.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in network automation and security.
Documentation and Training:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all automated processes and solutions.
Provide training and support to team members on the use of Ansible for network automation.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related studies
Minimum of 3 years of experience in network operations and security.
Proven experience with Ansible automation, particularly in managing network devices and firewalls.
Hands-on experience with F5 firewalls and related technologies
Proficiency in Ansible and experience writing playbooks and roles.
Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall policies, and security best practices.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
Relevant certifications such as F5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or equivalent.
