- F5 Firewall Automation:
- Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible to manage F5 firewalls.
- Automate the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of F5 firewall rules and policies.
- Network Operations:
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and security.
- Work closely with network and security teams to integrate automation solutions into existing network infrastructure.
- Security Compliance:
- Ensure that all automated solutions comply with industry standards and organizational security policies.
- Conduct regular audits and compliance checks on firewall configurations and policies.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve network operations and security through automation.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in network automation and security.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all automated processes and solutions.
- Provide training and support to team members on the use of Ansible for network automation.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related studies
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network operations and security.
- Proven experience with Ansible automation, particularly in managing network devices and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with F5 firewalls and related technologies
- Proficiency in Ansible and experience writing playbooks and roles.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall policies, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Relevant certifications such as F5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or equivalent.
