Position SummaryEnsures that all clinical services scheduled at Munroe-Meyer Institute (MMI) have appropriate demographics and insurance updated in EPIC. Ensures that insurance accounts are built accurately and that all clinical services are properly authorized. Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of scheduling health care services. Ability to utilize clinical scheduling software.Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to work independently and to prioritize workload and set deadlinesStrong communication skills necessary. Must be able to interface in a professional manner with individuals at all levels.Strong customer focus skills essential. Ability to communicate with people in a supportive capacity, and must be able to identify & triage health care needs.Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Third Party Insurance billing protocols and pre-authorization guidelines.Familiarity with medical billing such as CPT , HCPCS, ICD9 coding.Ability to handle confidential matters discreetly.
