How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?Safe, reliable and efficient operation of the Hamilton ASU and SMR. The outside operator is responsible for first line assurance inspections, start-up and shutdown of equipment as per SOP, as well as the safe making and LOTO of equipment for maintenance.Actively participate in facility safety meetings and inspections.Ensures that contractors, visitors, co-workers, and others comply with Safety Policies and Procedures.Participate in operational and routine maintenance tasks within the facility work group without interruption of customer product deliveries.Ensure accurate facility record keeping and documentation.Foster open communication amongst all facility technicians in relation to best practices, operational or facility needs, safety issues or concerns, conflicts of interest between shifts or other departments, and sharing operational knowledge and expertise with all other Technicians.Reports and investigates all incidents; ensures corrective actions are completed and drives continuous improvement.Become involved with project innovations and improvement.Generate initial documentation for on-site contractors, vendors, guests, or visitors site-specific training needs, escort on-site contractors, vendors, guests, or visitors throughout the facility as needed.Conduct acceptance test/start-up reviews with Operations & Maintenance.Acquire knowledge and ability in all plant operations including processes and equipment.Study and maintain site-specific Standard Operating Procedures, P&ID’s, PFD’s, and all other technical documentation as relates to operational or equipment processes.Assist in development of facility operations procedures.Load and unload cryogenic transports as necessary.Perform all work in compliance with Standard Operating and Maintenance Procedures.Ensure safety procedures are followed including, safe work permits, energy control isolation and IDL’s, confined space entry work, hot work, work plans, pre-job discussions, plant safety inspections, etc.Demonstrate an ability to learn and follow- National & Local Standard Operating Procedures, follow through on instructions, work with minimal supervision, perform light and routine maintenance.Determine if immediate maintenance action is required, then document and report to appropriate personnelProvide fill-in coverage for peers on vacation and serve in emergency shift relief as situations warrant.Are you a MATCH?High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum of two (1) years of related operations experience .Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering CertificationKnowledgeable of government regulations including environmental permitting and compliance, loading /quality assurance, basic electricity, National & Local Operating Procedures And maintenance management process, and All HSE issues associated with the facility.Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret blueprints, flow-charts, process piping ISO’s, simple schematics, P&ID’s, electrical schematics, perform basic math operations, calibrate plant process analytical equipment.Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of control-board and operations of operator interface consoles (computer).Our Differences make our PerformanceAt Air Liquide, we are committed to build a diverse and inclusive workplace that embraces the diversity of our employees, our customers, patients, community stakeholders and cultures across the world.We welcome and consider applications from all qualified applicants, regardless of their background.
