  • Reads and understands blueprints and building plans.
  • Installs structures and fixtures.
  • Measures, cuts, and shapes wood and other materials.
  • Constructs building frameworks, including walls, floors, doorframes, downspouts, and gutters.
  • Inspects and replaces damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
  • Utilizes many different hand and power tools; including but not limited to, squares, levels, chisels, sanders, circular saws, drills, nail guns to cut and shape wood, drywall, or other materials.
  • Fastens materials together with nails, screws, staples, and adhesives accurately.
  • Measures materials to ensure productivity, reduces waste and ensures efficiency.
  • Work with light-gauge and load-bearing steel framing for interior partitions, exterior framing, and wall construction.
  • Determines the appropriate amount and cost of the materials required to accomplish the projects and provides the materials list to the supervisor.
  • Ensures the areas under construction are properly cordoned off to ensure the safety of others.
  • Understands what materials are compatible in an equine environment.
  • Ensures the proper usage of the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Determines and provides an accurate timeframe of project completion.
  • Follows building code requirements, obtains required permits, and provides completion certificates to the supervisor.
  • May be subjected to secondhand smoke.
  • Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.
  • Keeps position supervisor informed of relevant activities.
  • Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests. Demonstrates #AddLife culture in all interactions with guests and co-workers.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities: In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
  • Obtain and retain required license(s).
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.
  • Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gaming.
  • Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.
Position Qualifications: Must have a High School Diploma or GED certificate plus two years similar work experience; or, four years’ work experience; or a combination of work and education may be considered. Working knowledge in these areas, the list may not be all-inclusive.
