QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills, Licensure, Training & Travel Requirements (if applicable):
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Cardiology Credentialing International (CCI) attempted with 18-24 months of hire date
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire or within 30 days of start date and maintain certification throughout employment. This must be obtained prior to providing patient care
- Ability to read, and write in English
- Ability to communicate to allow discussions with employees and peers
- Ability to remain calm under stress
- Ability to show organization and leadership
- Ability to respond to pages
- Near-Visual acuity and depth perception to examine exposed films for detail
- Ability to evaluate and interpret information and make independent decisions
- Bending, lifting (50-75 pounds), grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling
- Electrical and radiant energy hazards are present
- Exposure to infectious organisms, agents and toxic chemicals
