  • Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday, flexible 8 hour shift between 7am and 5pm.
  • Location: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC
What You’ll Need:
  • Graduate of an AMA approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with NMTCB or ARRT (N), r certificate eligible within one year of hire date.
  • Valid BLS Certification
  • 2 years' experience in clinical Nuclear Medicine preferred
  • Strong clinical ability to prioritize patient needs, provide age-appropriate patient care, manage schedules, and effectively communicate with medical professionals
Job Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
  • Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures by utilizing imaging equipment with associated computers and techniques.
  • Practice safe and efficient handling of radioactive materials in accordance with accepted standards of practice, and demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation exposure to patients and other members of the health care team is essential.
  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic exams.
  • Technologist will also administer medications to patients who contain an order or within the protocol guidelines.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other ancillary professional staff
  • Ability to maintain daily schedules
  • Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to priorities of patient needs
