- You will be responsible for supporting the Tax team and ensuring all corporate income tax compliance is accurate and filed timely.
- The position is mainly focused on quarterly and annual worldwide consolidated tax provisions, review of tax packages from different countries, preparation of consolidated schedules for deferred taxes and rate reconciliation disclosures, review of monthly forecasted tax data, annual operation plan and multi-year business plan tax data.
- It includes detailed reviews of tax computations prepared by the plants in different locations, preparing global corporate income tax analysis, comparing prior and current months forecasts, reconciling the global effective tax rate, analysing variances in current and deferred taxes, monitoring the use of losses carry forward.
- You will also work on international tax matters, supporting the analysis of different tax compliance topics and tax strategies in various countries.
- You will play an important role in the department’s initiatives for automation.
- Tax audits are also supported by the Tax Specialist.
- You will need to invest time to build relationships with the global tax team and with plant controllers and other finance functional areas to ensure good communication and timely reaction to relevant information.
- University degree in Business Administration or other relevant commercially oriented studies (Accounting / Finance preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate income tax and tax accounting.
- Solid knowledge of tax accounting concepts, current and deferred taxes, IFRS rules, etc.
- Hyperion and/or SAP experience are assets.
- Team player with excellent coordination skills to manage simultaneous projects and requests by himself.
- English business fluent (C-Level); additional languages, especially German, are also assets.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%, also internationally.
