Long Term Substitute Teacher - Algebra

• Bachelor's degree or Teaching Credential in Mathematics
• High school teaching experience preferred.

• Support a student-centered atmosphere implementing a Problem Based Learning Plan and execute lessons that are data driven, incorporate research-based methodologies, and are designed to engage and support all learners.
• Design learning experiences for students that place value on innovation, inquiry, and creativity.
• Offer collaborative and individual learning opportunities that support student growth.
• Incorporate educational technology into the classroom in an authentic manner to enhance the learning experience.
• Actively collaborate with fellow teachers to design lessons, analyze data, and write common assessments.
• Be supportive of the Mission and Philosophy of a Catholic school.

• Ensure the safety and welfare of all students.

• Work is performed primarily in a standard classroom setting.
• Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an classroom setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
