We are currently hiring a prn with the opportunity to grow to a full time position!Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Social or Behavioral Science is a must.
  • Professional licensure required. If not already licensed, the candidate should be eligible to apply for ALC, LPC, LMSW, LICSW, or LMFT licensure within 90 days of hire.
  • Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in addictions treatment.
  • Previous training and/or experience demonstrating competency with a special population (e.g., Adult or Adolescent).
  • CPR certification is essential.
  • Ability to function both emotionally and physically under stressful conditions.
  • Strong record-keeping and communication skills.
Responsibilities: * Conduct a comprehensive Psychosocial Assessment.
  • Evaluate and integrate assessment findings into a clinical summary.
  • Develop treatment plans with specific goals, objectives, and corresponding interventions based on clinical summaries.
  • Clearly and legibly document the patient's clinical course of treatment in progress notes.
  • Manage and coordinate the patient's progress on treatment objectives, keeping all relevant parties informed.
  • Formulate and document a comprehensive discharge summary.
  • Integrate knowledge of 12-Step Programs and Principles into the therapeutic process and treatment plans.
  • Effectively manage caseload, documentation requirements, and treatment delivery responsibilities.
  • Conduct individual counseling sessions for addictive disorders.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions tailored to addiction treatment.
  • Facilitate specialty groups relevant to addiction treatment.
  • Perform conjoint family counseling, considering the dynamics of codependency and the effects of addiction on families.
  • Deliver basic education lectures and presentations on addiction treatment.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance, ensuring coherence, articulation, and responsiveness to patients' needs.
  • Provide supervision, if assigned, and document according to policy and procedure.
  • Collaborate effectively with co-workers, managers, clients, and prospective clients.
  • Work in a constant state of alertness to ensure job performance in a safe manner.
