As the US Benefit Plans Manager you will be trusted to provide strategic and plan design support for US Health and Welfare benefit plan operations and financial management. You will also ensure financial stability and compliance of benefit plans through plan design, analyzing claims costs, and enrollment. In addition to these duties you will conduct analyses and provide support as needed to ensure ongoing benefits program competitiveness and compliance in Fort Worth, Texas!Key Responsibilities:US Health & Welfare strategic plan design supportPerform Ad-Hoc analysis and assist in proposal developmentInvestigation of new plans and vendorsBenchmarking and participation in surveysBenefit communication supportMaintain internal & external claims and budget tracking documentsFinancial & data analytics and trackingAd-Hoc requestsFinancial and Utilization reportingMerger & Acquisition supportData Warehouse reporting and analysisQuarterly medical and dental dashboards for leadershipReconciliation of claims – vendor reports to bankingComplianceCoordinate SPD/Plan document updatesStatutory requirement (e.g. 5500, SARs, Audits, , RxDC reporting, Gag clause attestation, etc.)Review/Update plan information at benefit vendorsAssist with and/or review of development of contribution ratesAssist with vendor contractsInternal controls for retiree medical and active plan changesBenefit CommunicationsAssist with updating plan communicationsAssist with employee meetings/annual enrollment process/benefit fairsWHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English5 Years of Proven ExperienceHOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:
