- Evaluating case studies: the primary job function will be evaluating and editing the brand case studies written by our Trends Analysts. The Trends Manager will ensure that each written piece is bold, backed by strong data, forward-looking and relevant to the Americas marketplace
- Working with tech tools: using AI tools, translation software, project management and content management systems, the Trends Manager will play a critical role in the quality control process for content publication.
- Collaborating with global analysts: this role will include partnering with Mintel subject-matter experts across the globe to ensure our content is compelling, useful and applicable to a range of categories, demographics and regions.
- Managing culture and language translation: to cover the Americas region, the Trends Manager will need to understand the cultural nuances of North and South America and use translation tools to read and interpret market news from Spanish, Portuguese and English language outlets.
- Supporting content innovation: we strive to continually create new types of content for our clients, from custom POVs to syndicated briefings. Trends analysts support this week and help shape these product changes.
- A Thoughtful Leader: you are an experienced manager and are excited to help people early in their careers to grow and develop at Mintel. You are able to manage timelines, schedules and projects to ensure that content is published on time and at a high quality.
- A Great Communicator: you have extremely polished English-language verbal and written communication skills, and can clearly communicate ideas to readers in a straightforward way. You have a keen ability to edit and elevate written content to improve the ease of understanding for our readers.
- A Researcher: you have some experience within trends, insights, planning or marketing within an agency or on the client side. You have the ability to identify patterns in data, and understand what these patterns mean for consumers and brands.
- A Collaborator: you encourage and develop internal relationships across our global teams. You seek out opportunities to collaborate with peers in your department and across the organization to ultimately elevate our clients' experience.
- Detail-Oriented: you have excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. You are dedicated to quality, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your work to elevate Mintel as a top consumer insights company.
- Open to Change: you are eager to try new tools and new ways of working, including experimentation with AI, data tools, content management systems and project management software to enable streamlined workflows and quality output.
- Globally Minded: you are interested in other countries and cultures and will enjoy the opportunity to immerse yourself in understanding the North and South American markets to bring a culturally specific perspective to our audience.
- Copywriting experience will be an added advantage.
