- Provide strong team leadership and associate development for the Yield Operations teams to increase performance and provide excellent service to the teams we support.
- Establish team goals and vision, working directly with the team to execute, measure progress, and share results and successes.
- Serve as the “last mile” leader for our Yield functions, overseeing the Yield functions that are directly Sales facing, from booking operations and Sponsorship maintenance to inventory packaging, price efficiencies, and incremental revenue opportunity development.
- Work with Sales and Sales Strategy to help define operational processes and procedures to streamline workflows and drive operational efficiencies.
- Partner closely with Campaign Optimization, Sales Strategy, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, Product, and Sales to roll-out new products, features, and integrations.
- Represent Yield in strategic conversations around revenue maximization, providing insights and context around new or improved ad products, changes to policy, and ad product and revenue strategy.
- Build productive and positive relationships across the organization at all levels to drive influence.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and inspire a high-performance team of Yield Analysts and Operation Managers.
- Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Finance) or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of Digital Yield or Digital Ad Operations working experience with a solid understanding of advertising KPIs.
- Strong working knowledge of CRM and AdTech systems (Salesforce, GAM, Freewheel, etc.) required, and experience with Ad Network/Ad Exchange/DSP/SSP preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, manage, lead, and mentor a high-performance team, with 5+ years of direct People Leadership experience.
- Proven track record of partnering with Sales Leaders, balancing larger goals of an organization with the asks and demands of the sales process, and creating successful strategies and solutions that maximize revenue while meeting the needs of our advertisers.
- Fluency in the language of digital media and online measurement: impressions, CTR, CPMs, STR, Fill rates, unique users, page views, visits, viewability, demo comps, etc.
- Strong business communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to express complex technical topics clearly & easily.
- Experience with data science programming languages (Python or R), and experience with SQL and relational databases (for example Hive, Big Query) a plus.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and often lack of clarity, demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and tight deadlines.
