With operations in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado, they provide General Contracting, Retail Tenant Finish out, Commercial New Construction/Remodeling, and Restoration services for over 15 years.Job Description:We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our client's team. As a Commercial Construction Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:1. Leadership/ Team Abilities: We are looking for individuals who have demonstrated strong leadership skills, including the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and make strategic decisions under pressure. But are able to work with a team effectively.2. Communication Skills: Effective communication is critical for our superintendents, as they need to interact with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and team members.3. Problem-Solving Skills: We are seeking candidates who have a track record of effectively identifying issues, developing solutions, and keeping projects on track within budget and timeline constraints4. Attention to Detail: Our superintendents must pay close attention to detail to ensure that projects meet quality standards and comply with specifications.Qualifications:
  • 5-10 years of experience as a commercial construction Superintendent
  • Convenience store experience is a plus.
  • Experience with projects ranging from $3Mil to $20Mil
  • A degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus
  • Proficient in construction management software, scheduling tools (such as Builder Trend & Microsoft Project), and other software used in construction. Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards is a plus.
  • OSHA 30 (preferred)
