Are you ready to hop on this exciting ride with us and help us achieve our mission?The Role in Brief:As Commercial Manager for CIS Commodity Inspection Services in China, your role will encompass many functions. Primarily, you'll devise strategies, identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and strengthen relationships with key clients, and analyse market trends. In addition, you'll relay important market information and sales progress reports to the Chief Commercial Officer. A major part of your role will also involve representing QIMA at industry events. Overall, you will play a pivotal part in driving CIS' commercial strategy into one of the key markets for Agri-commodities in the world, China.Key Responsibilities: * Sales and Revenue Generation:Increase market share by identifying new business opportunities and converting them into sales. Ensure consistent growth in revenue figures by meeting or exceeding sales targets.2. Client Relationship Management:Maintain and develop strong relationships with key clients. Regularly communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet these needs.3.Market Analysis and Strategy Development:Analyze market trends and competitor activity within China's commodity inspection services landscape. Develop and execute sales strategies specific to the China market.4.Reporting and Communication:Report vital market information and sales progress regularly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Collaborate across various teams to reach goals.5.Leader Representation:Represent QIMA at key industry events and engagements./51Skills & Abilities:In order to succeed in this role, you should have:
  • Proven track record in sales and business development within the commodity inspection services industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge in international trade and shipping is a plus.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work during non-standard hours when required.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements in China.
