Ahmed Group is a leading tea manufacturing company, established in 1921, with stakes in rubber, agro, textile and cold storage.We are looking for an experienced and skilled professional for the position of Accounts Manager.Job Location: Head Office (Sylhet).Responsibilities:The Accounts Manager will work closely with the Board, Chief Accounts Officer, and other colleagues and will be responsible for all aspects of day to day accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting and budgeting, tax compliance, financial reporting and ensuring organizational financial stabilityEnsure accounting of all incomes, expenses, assets, liabilities and equity of the organization. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with team members to prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements. Monitor, supervise and guide team members for timely preparation of reconciliation statements related to finance & accounts.Oversee tax planning, preparation, and filing of all tax returns. Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities during audits and assessments. Maintain an effective engagement with tax regulators.Maintain VDS and TDS as per compliance.Assist the Board and other members in implementation of ERP. Ensure adequate checking of all documents supporting the transactions recorded in ERP & financial statements.Maintain trial balance and ledgers with accuracy and monitor updates in the ERP. Ensure timely checking of all vouchers.Monitor liquidity and recommend appropriate actions to optimize cash resources.Work closely with the Board to monitor bank FD, credit facilities. Keep close liaison with the bank accordingly.Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.Collaborate with team members in preparation of budgets and financial forecast for each business unit.Skills & ExpertiseAccounts Good English communication skills (verbal and Written)Compensation & Other BenefitsSalary: Appropriate to experience and qualification.In line with Company Rules of Service Executives including festival bonus, contributory provident fund, gratuity, medical expenses etc.Employment StatusFull TimeJob LocationSylhetCompany InformationM.
