- Impact the profitability of the Company through ensuring strategic and tactical management decisions and new business development results.
- Develop, review and report on the business development strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team.
- Develop and implement a strategy and define roles of each member of the Business Development team. Establish metrics to measure and report the success of the team to internal stakeholders.
- Develop and lead the Business Development team in sourcing, managing and implementing new business opportunities and programs.
- Maintains effective working relationships with Service Center Administration, Aftermarket Sales and other Product Support and Engineering professionals to ensure proper collaboration.
- Responsible for developing detailed communication plans about new business opportunities and programs and which customers will be targeted and provide those details to the Service Center Network Sales team.
- Ensures alignment of all sales team members by developing and implementing a consistent approach to the customer experience.
- Working with Service Center Administration, establish a uniform approach to all lead generation activities. Ensures coordination of marketing and lead generation activities.
- Responsible for the design and execution of aftermarket sales programs that support established organizational goals.
- Operates in a team oriented, fast paced environment with competing and shifting priorities.
- Maintains flexible mindset to take on and handle other duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing, finance, business or other related field required.
- MBA degree or previous leadership experience preferred but not required.
- Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance, operations, supply chain, program management, engineering, or other related experience.
- Pilot’s license preferred.
- Strong project management skills and ability to network across the company to accomplish goals.
- Ability to contribute individually and lead, manage or participate in cross -functional teams.
- Ability to create great working relationships at all levels within the company and across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
