Hours available in Skilled Nursing:
Full Time (5 Days Week / EOW)
Location: The Village at Victory Lakes, 1055 E Grand Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046Duties and Responsibilities:
Wound Care
Maintains accurate treatment schedule, timely records of treatments administered, progress notes, and evaluations for skilled residents
Reviews all skin assessment of new residents.
Conduct weekly meetings with Wound Committee
Completes rounds with Wound Doctor every week and updates PCC
Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family.
Reports all suspected, alleged, or witness physical, sexual, or verbal abuse3 immediately to the DON and Administrator.
Required skills and qualifications:
Graduate from accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
Two years of long-term care experience.
Current nursing license for the state of IL.
Wound Care Certified, or willing to get within first 3 months of hire
CPR certified
Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Must enjoy working with the senior population
