- Day Shift 7am-3pm

- Continually searching for automation and control improvements within the facility to increase our productivity and improve our quality.
- Manage all change control documentation associated with any upgrades.
- Implementation of small to medium scale projects in house related to upgrades and control changes.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance, mentor and assist with on-the-job training of technicians.
- Introduce new and innovative processes into production, train and support maintenance and production team members before and after deployment of projects.
- The primary job function consists of maintenance and repair of all electronic components within the automation equipment.
- Other duties include diagnose, repair, and/or replace electrical components as necessary.
- Assist in upgrades of process control equipment as new technology develops.
- Maintain an understanding of the latest state of the art control systems.
- Good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, and electrical troubleshooting robotics/automation.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to interact with all layers of the organization especially within a process upset situation.
- Must possess demonstrated leadership skills.
- Must possess or immediately purchase the required tools for this position.
- Must be experienced in the following areas:
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Servo Systems.
- Variable Frequency Drives
- Human Machine Interface Controls
- Industrial motion controls.
- Robotics
- Technical Degree - Industrial Automation
- 3- 5 years’ automation technician experience
