Job SummaryDirect daily activities of employees in the Maintenance Department. Supervise and administer all corrective actions for maintenance in accordance with corporate, state, and local agencies. Monitor tasks of employees during and after completion to verify they are performed in accordance with station policies and procedures. Assist planning in developing daily work schedules and outage schedules. Direct and provide guidance to Maintenance Supervisors in the proper execution of their responsibilities. Maintain the plant mechanical systems to assure safe and efficient operation of equipment. Maintain Mechanical Maintenance department budget. Participate in development of system design changes/projects and supervise the implementation of system design changes. Maintain oversight of craft training program planning and implementation. May be required to become a member of the Station Emergency Response Organization.Perform other duties as requested or assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperienceThe knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:5 years of related experience - Note: A partial year of related work experience of 6 months or greater will be considered one year towards the qualifications.
Related experience which shall include 3 yrs.,
Power plant experience which shall include 2 yrs.,
Nuclear power plant experience to 1 yr.,
On-site experience to include .25 yr.Additional Requirements:Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and meet deadlines; apply good business judgment; apply analytical abilities to diverse issues; understand and respond to customer needs.
