- This role will be responsible for programmatic and direct media investment for Basis' managed service clients. This role is expected to propose strategic tactics, reviewing campaigns daily and troubleshoot technical issues as needed. You will contribute by:
- Maintaining a strong understanding of the digital media landscape and the latest Basis products and solutions
- Using core knowledge and on-the-job training of programmatic to propose strategic tactics that meet client's objectives and KPIs across site direct and programmatic media buys
- Reviewing campaigns daily while adjusting those that need pacing and optimizations to ensure KPIs are met in order to retain media investment
- Providing mentoring and guidance to Display Media Buying Associates and working with Integrated Media Planners (when applicable) and Campaign Performance Analysts to develop performance stories and highlight the value Basis brings to secure future opportunities
- Adopting new processes or Basis workflow modifications as introduced to ensure consistent and repeatable processes are used across regions
- Troubleshooting technical issues with creative, tactics, DSP software, and digital ad campaigns when necessary
- Providing feedback and participate in BETA testing for new features working with the product team
- 2+ years of experience in digital media buying, including programmatic
- An understanding and interest in programmatic and RTB. Must have a desire to understand technology and strategy, while excelling in data quantifying
- Experience in Demand Side Platform executions and knowledge of operations
- Strategic thinking, solution oriented, and proactive client service skills
- Proven client communication skills
- Strong issue resolution and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to work well in a cross functional team environment
- Professional and advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in site tagging/pixel placement and Google Analytics strongly preferred
- Prior experience in agency or Ad Tech industry
