- Receive and review purchase requisitions, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Obtain vendor quotes and analyze pricing proposals, comparing costs from different suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Generate and process purchase orders accurately and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and track the status of purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with vendors regarding order status, changes, and confirmations.
- Communicate with vendors and manufacturers regarding returns and warranties to facilitate the process of receiving credit.
- Continually track the status of credits and reach out to vendors when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all purchases.
- Address any issues or delays in collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors.
- Proven experience in procurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in procurement software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
