Full-Time Salary Paying PositionAbout This Position:
The Clinician provides limited, crisis management-oriented, individual and/or family therapy, as needed while the youth and family are awaiting an appointment with a qualified provider in their community to stabilize the family during emergencies or urgent circumstances. This individual will maintain a positive and optimistic attitude and will work collaboratively with internal and external providers to maintain effective and well-coordinated care.
  • Conducts intake, screening, and assessment to obtain basic but key information about the youth and family being served
  • Administers standardized screening tools and collects data as defined by program
  • Documents client related information in compliance with agency policy
  • Works collaboratively with youth, family and staff to gain an understanding of behaviors and identifying risk relevant factors that need to be addressed
  • Communicates in a positive, effective manner with client, family, and all internal and external providers
Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling and/or Marriage and Family Therapy – Required
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with minimum of 2 years’ experience in Family Therapy – Required
Schedule and Rate of Pay:
  • Monday-Friday with flexible hours
  • 35 hours per week
  • 3 days per week in Danbury, Ct and 2 days per week in Torrington, Ct
  • $57,500 per year
