- Equipment Coordination
- Function as the business owner of Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager, including performance of Administrator functions.
- Ensure Life Cycle Asset Maintenance by facilitating all critical equipment calibration and preventative maintenance, completed per defined schedule.
- Collaborate, when needed, with Metrology team members on LC-MS/MS units.
- Create and/or maintain vendor contracts for services to instruments and equipment.
- Coordinate outside vendor visits for all vendor performed calibration and maintenance activities.
- Champion Change Control processes for commissioning and decommissioning of equipment.
- Collaborate with User Departments to determine equipment qualification requirements and author and execute qualification documents, when applicable.
- Manage and maintain equipment history files and ensure proper documentation of all work. performed on equipment or systems, as applicable.
- Provide support and troubleshooting of equipment necessary to meet all customer. requirements including identifying issues or causes of failures.
- Author instrument or equipment SOPs, as needed.
- Facilities and Utilities
- Coordinate and manage the general upkeep of the buildings and utilities for the site.
- Provide technical assistance concerning laboratories, facilities and utilities.
- Maintain site generators in performance condition, ensuring maintenance, exercising and challenging per defined frequencies.
- Manage any utility and facility leasing vendors/representatives.
- Manage periodic renewal and provision of data for site specific permits, including HAZMAT permit.
- Manage periodic testing of business continuity processes as per SOP defined procedure.
- Manage fixed asset inventory and provide timely reports, as requested.
- Shipping and Logistics
- Mange scheduling and receipt of internal and external shipments including obtaining necessary permits and custom clearance, as needed.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Science or Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of experience with the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO industry in a GLP/GMP environment.
- Working knowledge of laboratory equipment and facilities
- Communicating in a professional manner
