- Oversee the end-to-end immigration program for foreign national employees, including visa applications, work authorizations, renewals, and green card applications.
- Provide guidance and support to employees, managers, and recruiters regarding immigration processes, requirements, and timelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for immigration-related inquiries and issues, addressing concerns and providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain immigration policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy in immigration processes.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and immigration attorneys to facilitate efficient visa processing and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of immigration records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Legal, and Talent Acquisition, to address immigration-related challenges and develop solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and improve immigration processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to provide regular updates on immigration spend, compliance, and program effectiveness to senior management.
- Lead all aspects of global mobility, including visa sponsorship, work permits, and relocation assistance for employees transferring internationally.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration, Law) preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in immigration and global mobility, preferably in the high-tech industry.
- Strong program management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees, managers, recruiters, and external partners.
- Knowledge of immigration laws and regulations, including experience with visa categories such as H-1B, L-1, and TN visas.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications or training in immigration law or management is a plus.
