Experienced dentists and recent graduates are welcome to apply.DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this role, you will supervise the daily work of the institution's dental staff and be responsible for all aspects of the clinical dental services provided to the inmate population, including periodic examinations, diagnosing oral diseases, and treating injuries. You will provide basic dental care and perform all dental treatment; assist specialists in the performance of treatment and related duties while onsite; and assure that adequate security, tool control, and Toxic and Caustic Control are carried out within the dental office. You will consult with and refer inmate patients to physicians, oral surgeons, and other health care professionals.Interested in learning more?   • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. This position may be eligible for quality assurance program payments.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirement:
  • Graduation from an approved school of dentistry.
Special Requirements:
  • You must have possession of a license to practice dentistry issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry.
Other Requirements:
