DescriptionThe Registered Dietitian and Diabetes Educator develops nutrition care plans by assessing, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, evaluating and documenting care in the patient’s electronic health record. They act as a resource for nutrition expertise and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient care needs. The clinical dietitian demonstrates knowledge of current medical nutrition therapy (MNT), current principles of nutrition support, nutrition counseling skills, and education and presentation skills.
