As an Engineering Manager in our Embedded Software Engineering Department, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of software development or test engineers. Your primary focus will be on overseeing the development of embedded software solutions for our products, ensuring adherence to coding standards, safety regulations, and project deadlines.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead and manage a team of software engineers, including performance reviews, goal setting, and salary reviews. You will provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.Oversee the design, development, and testing of embedded software solutions, ensuring high quality and reliability. * Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.The person we are looking for is driven, caring and structured. field. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proficiency in C coding, preferably with knowledge of MISRA C guidelines.
- Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and bare-metal programming.
- Familiarity with debuggers such as Lauterbach and Segger.
- Knowledge of schematics and hardware-software integration.
- Understanding of safety coding standards and regulations (e.g., ISO13849, ISO26262).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Previous experience with formal requirements management tools like Polarion is
- Track record of delivering high-quality embedded software solutions on time and within
- Adaptability to changing priorities and business needs.
- Passion for innovation and driving excellence in embedded software engineering
- Experience and interest in manufacturing industry
- Fluency in other languages (Japanese, Swedish, Chinese, French)
- Experience from a multi-cultural environment
