
Learning Analyst - X-Ray Technologist

- Developing and updating curriculum, lesson plans, e-learning modules with delivery of on-boarding training to all new hire X-ray Technologists, including refresher courses and workshops
- Ad hoc training of site leaders and providers related to X-ray and Radiation Safety QA program
- Learning resources
- Identifying and analyzing delivery gaps in training courses or areas of operational efficiencies on site in relation to the X-ray Technologist/X-ray Medical Technologist job function
- Assist X-ray Team with companywide initiatives, go-lives, team projects
- Providing unparalleled patient care/patient safety, adhering to established protocols and work processes
- Assist the Learning and Development department with assigned tasks as needed
- Presenting and reviewing daily X-Ray responsibilities including how to:
- Start and shutdown X-Ray equipment
- Perform X-Rays consistent with state standards
- Perform X-Rays within established benchmark turnaround times (TATs) for the given study
- Perform X-Rays within the quality guidelines and protocols established by the company
- Review and adjust images prior to provider and radiologist read
- Use DR software and OnePacs archiving system
- Use EMR to ensure all official radiologist reports are reviewed and reconciled
- Assist with DOH compliance through tracking documentation of X-Ray quality control logs, licensing credentials
- Perform vitals, point of care rapid tests, and EKGs
- Primary source verifying X-ray credentials through state websites
- Scheduling new hires for shadow training with Senior Technologists or Trainers
- Ensuring site evaluations and training checklists are completed and collected
- Determining passing, remediation or termination recommendation of new hires undergoing training due to deficiencies in performance, progress, quality, interpersonal skills, or other deficiency that would be counterproductive to an outstanding patient experience.
- Refining X-Ray curriculum and lesson plans as needed
- Ability to pivot or adjusting training topics during site conflicts/patient surges
- X-Ray equipment functionality and equipment troubleshooting
- Imaging order and report interface
- OnePacs introduction
- Error protocols and contact resources
- DOH compliance through documentation in X-Ray quality control logs, licenses, state or county registrations and permits ensuring proper display of all current certifications and licenses at every site through
- Hosting orientation for all new hire team members
- Assisting new team members with system account set-up
- Assist X-ray Team in performing Quality and Assurance on X-Ray Technologists using automated reports (including, but not limited to):
- -Error Reports
- -Quality of X-Ray Reports
- Turn Around Time issues as reported by Providers and or Site Leadership
- Identifying and evaluating highly skilled X-Ray Technologists for possible advancement opportunities and reporting findings to leadership, and Human Resources, through completion of reports
- Conduct site visits to observe X-ray Technologists performance to provide feedback, support with workflows, proper procedures and best practice
- Evaluating underperforming X-Ray Technologists and providing assessment to leadership, and Human Resources, through completion of reports
- Educating X-Ray Technologists on new workflow or reminders on best practices through weekly practice updates
- Guiding Senior X-ray Technologists to ensure that they supervise new X-ray Technologists consistent with standards and teachings of CityMD Academy
- Assisting Senior X-Ray Technologists problem-solve X-ray hardware/software failure/errors and expedite repair by contacting appropriate vendors
- Assisting Senior Techs and Aftercare team members with reconciliations
- Assist Senior Technologists with image and report reconciliations
- An internal or external candidate’s qualifications will include:
- Must be a regular, full-time employee of CityMD, with active and registered Diagnostic Radiography licenses in New York and New Jersey preferred
- Must have a minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience with CityMD
- An external candidate with experience similar or greater in capacity to an X-ray Technologist at CityMD
- Must have exceeds or above expectation performance for six months (no pending performance improvement plan or warnings
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong aptitude for detail, proactive in nature, and an ability to work independently and in group settings is required.
- Comfortable presenting in varying sized groups in a live classroom or virtual setting
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
