- Specific tasks to support impactful M&S efforts include study plan coordination, scenario development, representation instantiation, scenario testing, output extraction, analysis, and results development.
- Evaluate and recommend models and simulations that support aviation life-cycle support plans. Task requires proactive engagement with simulation software, subsystem procurement, hardware development teams, and other teams both inside and outside of the program.
- Specific M&S tools operated may include: EADSIM, AFSIM, TGx, and STK. Expertise with one or more of these tools is strongly desired, however relevant experience with similar M&S tools will be considered such as: MATLAB, STORM, SEAS, or GIANT.
- Conduct software integration and testing in an Agile environment using various test methodologies on sprint releases for hardware and software projects.
- Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or other STEM degree from an ABET accredited school and 5 or more years of professional development experience.
- C/C++, Java, or Python; Problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active Secret Clearance Able to quickly model and simulate performance using excel and other related MBSE tools
- Ability to complete high-priority projects under strict time constraints
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Work effectively with others in a teaming environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CAMEO, Magic Draw, DOORS (or other traceability tools), and available SE tools.
- Operations research/systems analysis (ORSA) or applied mathematics background is preferred but not required
- Modeling and Simulation architectures, DoD software development, Team-based Software Development Tools (Git, GitLab, etc.), Object-Oriented Design
