BlueWave is hiring a Financial Analyst for an enterprise client with headquarters in Orlando, FL 32801. As a financial analyst, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing journal entries, including managing location cash activity and contractual fees, receiving franchise cash, and others with proper documentation in a timely manner.Responsibilities:Review managed location P&Ls for completeness and accuracyReview and correct any discrepancies as neededReconcile cash accounts and receivables/payables for managed and franchise locations.Communicate with managed and franchise locations and prepare billings for appropriate reimbursements, including payroll, inventory and sales tax, incentive fees, and revenue, including royalties, marketing, franchise, and area development fees.Request monthly funding settlements from managed locationsCreate and develop standard processes for reconciling, tracking, and communicating with managed locationsWork with Revenue Accounting and other appropriate parties to understand the flow of direct bills, including room charges and compsWork with internal business partners in order to support business plan processes and operational requestsOversee account balances, research discrepancies, and work directly with departments to resolve issuesEnsure compliance with accounting (including GAAP) requirements and contractual obligationsSupport ad hoc requests, reports, and new projectsWork with Internal Audit and KPMG to provide deliverables by established timelines and to respond to and resolve any questionsRequirements:Minimum 3 years of accounting, finance, or analytical experience, experience with general ledger reconciliationsSystems knowledge, including Oracle Financials, Discoverer, and HFM, is preferred.Exceptional organizational and planning skillsSelf-directed, ability to work under limited supervisionDemonstrated ability to work well under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentProven experience prioritizing, planning, and solving problems effectivelyAbility to be flexible as processes continue to evolveExcellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with managed locations, franchise partners, and other departments and external partiesStrong Excel knowledge with the ability to work with large data filesAnalytical and research abilityProven leadership ability who can work well with others to promote a positive team attitudeDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at any given time effectivelyBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or BusinessEmployment Type: Full-Time Hybrid in Orlando, FL 32801Benefits: Competitive Salary, Health Insurance, and Ancillary BenefitsBlueWave specializes in recruiting high-performing team members for technology, marketing, federal services, and leadership roles.
