- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the mission-critical construction division.
- Collaborate with senior management to align construction goals with overall company objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and innovations to ensure our projects are at the forefront of excellence.
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of mission-critical construction projects from inception to delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards.
- Implement rigorous risk management practices to anticipate and address potential challenges.
- Develop new business to support the growth of the mission critical business unit.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to foster professional growth within the team.
- Promote a collaborative and innovative work culture.
- Implement and enforce strict quality assurance processes to ensure the highest construction standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Collaborate with the finance team to monitor project costs and make data-driven decisions to optimize financial performance.
- Drive the adoption of cutting-edge construction technologies and methodologies to enhance project efficiency and quality.
- Identify opportunities for innovation within the mission-critical construction space.
- Provide regular and transparent communication to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and project teams.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, financial performance, and other key metrics.
- Graduate of a four-year degree program in construction management, construction science, architecture, engineering or related fields.
- 15+ years of experience leading or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity, with project specialization in the Mission Critical market.
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
