- Lead and supervise a team of technicians responsible for transformer maintenance and operations.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for transformers based on manufacturer recommendations, industry standards, and operational requirements.
- Coordinate scheduled and preventive maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Oversee the execution of maintenance tasks, including inspections, testing, repairs, and replacements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Monitor transformer performance and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvement.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective actions and optimization strategies to enhance transformer reliability and performance.
- Investigate and troubleshoot transformer issues, malfunctions, and failures.
- Collaborate with technical teams to diagnose problems, develop solutions, and implement corrective measures in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
- Prepare reports, documentation, and analysis related to transformer performance, maintenance activities, and operational metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in transformer operations, maintenance, and management.
- Strong knowledge of transformer principles, components, and systems.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., IEEE, ANSI, NFPA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a team, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and software relevant to maintenance management and data analysis.
