- Act as primary company point-of-contact (i.e., the single voice) to manage all aspects of the relationship and to maintain overall satisfaction for designated customer accounts.
- Accept purchase orders from customers and coordinate associated changes in manufacturing supply and customer demands, then manage expectations relative to backlog revisions.
- Interface with planning (OPS), AR, logistics, sales, customer program managers, contract manufacturers, and others to source information or solve customer issues to maintain overall customer satisfaction.
- Respond to general requests, advocate customer needs, solve problems and escalate issues.
- Contribute to the synergy of the Customer Account Management team by assisting and backing-up others, as needed.
- Work with the Team to improve processes and controls by automating and making them more efficient.
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience in an Order Entry / Customer Support or similar position.
- Must have experience working with ERP systems; SAP order entry experience is preferred.
- Experience with SalesForce.com is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) and ability to confidently communicate to internal and external teams.
- Candidate will be proficient with PC tools for word processing, E-mail and Excel and understand a typical manufacturing environment.
- Excellent "front line" customer service and problem-solving skills are a necessity.
- Proven ability to multi-task, manage timelines and have excellent attention to detail.
- Must have experience working with a global team and managing multiple time zones.
