The successful candidate will manage various customer accounts, including processing sales orders and related support activities This role supports a global organization, and this individual will have tasks where time constraints should be considered; work schedules should be flexible.Duties and responsibilities
  • Act as primary company point-of-contact (i.e., the single voice) to manage all aspects of the relationship and to maintain overall satisfaction for designated customer accounts.
  • Accept purchase orders from customers and coordinate associated changes in manufacturing supply and customer demands, then manage expectations relative to backlog revisions.
  • Interface with planning (OPS), AR, logistics, sales, customer program managers, contract manufacturers, and others to source information or solve customer issues to maintain overall customer satisfaction.
  • Respond to general requests, advocate customer needs, solve problems and escalate issues.
  • Contribute to the synergy of the Customer Account Management team by assisting and backing-up others, as needed.
  • Work with the Team to improve processes and controls by automating and making them more efficient.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in an Order Entry / Customer Support or similar position.
  • Must have experience working with ERP systems; SAP order entry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with SalesForce.com is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing) and ability to confidently communicate to internal and external teams.
  • Candidate will be proficient with PC tools for word processing, E-mail and Excel and understand a typical manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent "front line" customer service and problem-solving skills are a necessity.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, manage timelines and have excellent attention to detail.
  • Must have experience working with a global team and managing multiple time zones.
  • Positively contributes to the success of the Team.
