We are right now searching for a new passionate colleague to drive clinical development activities as a medical specialist in our department. In Medical & Science Diabetes, MDs are medically and scientifically responsible for the clinical trial programs and all other clinically related activities.As a (Senior) International Medical Manager, you will:
  • Play a leading role in designing clinical trials, providing medical oversight in the trial conduct phase, interpreting and documenting trial results, and supporting submissions to health authorities.
  • Have a key role as an author for publications of clinical trial data, as well as engaging in interaction with scientific experts and health authorities to achieve the best possible clinical development programs.
  • Have a high degree of independence, and decisions taken have a high degree of business impact.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders within Novo Nordisk's global organization and countries all over the globe. The position includes some traveling activities.
The workplace is our office buildings in Søborg but we can also offer flexible working. We do as well support you with a mobility package when moving from your home country.Qualifications
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
  • A university degree as a Medical Doctor and scientific training at PhD level or similar. Experience with clinical development of pharmaceutical drugs is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite.
  • Effective communication, coordination, and planning capabilities, with the ability to drive complex discussions involving diverse teams.
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English.

Our department has the medical responsibility over a portfolio of insulins and combination drugs. The responsibility of the department covers the entire drug lifecycle from research to post-approval life-cycle management and is further involved in digital health solutions.Our interactions involve a multitude of internal stakeholders with diverse backgrounds including R&D, Clinical Reporting, Commercial, Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, Marketing and Regulatory Affairs. Our key external stakeholders are the medical and scientific community, medical experts and regulatory authorities. Our team consists of 11 medical doctors.
