Catering Prep Cook (On-Call)

- Pay Rate: $15 per hour + Gratuity
- Schedule: On-call, Part-time; Includes evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on events schedule
- Reports to: Catering Chef / Food & Beverage Supervisor

- Prepare and cook food (following prep lists as applicable) to produce visually appealing and flavorful dishes
- Design and execute creative menu options
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen and dish area including washing dishes, cleaning back of house, and removing trash
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Additional responsibilities as needed
- Education: Culinary schooling preferred, but not required; Must be willing to get Sips & Tips and Food Handler's Permit
- Experience: Prior catering or restaurant experience preferred; Prior dishwashing experience required
- Competencies: Flexible problem-solving ability, able to resolve challenges that may come up during service; Strong attention to detail; Passion for The Leonardo's mission, vision, values, and serving our community.
- Physical/Other Requirements: Must be able to regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds and occasionally over 25 pounds; Must be age 21+, as may work shifts where alcohol is consumed by guests
