A can-do attitude and drive to complete tasks to a high standard
Ability to learn new systems and skills quickly.
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
Proven experience working in a kitchen, preferably a commercial kitchen.
Excellent food hygiene skills with a current food hygiene certificate (or the ability to sit one)
Very good interpersonal and communication skills
Eligibility to work in New Zealand.

You will be involved in the kitchen and cleaning duties at the modern and vibrant care home, while working within a welcoming and supportive multiskilled team.As a vital member of the team, your duties will include:

Helping to provide and support residents with their meals.
Preparing meals.
Cleaning of common areas and ensuring residents are living in a clean and safe environment.
Cleaning of spills and clearing rubbish
