IT Business Analyst (all genders)

• Acting as a bridge between the business and technical teams in order to ensure accurate delivery of a quality product or service
• Working with business stakeholders to understand and document business requirements
• Identifying stakeholders, processes and systems impacted by new requirements, analyzing technical requirements
• Identifying and evaluating potential solutions and making recommendations on which solutions best meet the needs of business
• Translating identified business needs into functional specifications and defining technical requirements
• Coordinating with developers and technology team to ensure timely delivery of a quality solution
• Testing code and software changes, providing support during the testing and implementation phases
• Investigating production system issues to determine the root cause of problems and providing recommendations for resolution

• Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with writing and analysing business requirements and functional specifications documents
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall
• Understanding of IT systems, processes, technologies, architecture and infrastructure, including data warehousing, ETL, cloud computing, operating systems, databases, and APIs
• Proficiency in relevant software tools such as JIRA, VISIO…
• 3-5 years of working experience as Business Analyst or similar position
