- Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
- Performs entry level work related to road and utility construction management and inspection.
- Follows instructions to accomplish task assigned by senior staff.
- Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
- Candidates must be enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with the intent to continue after the internship, unless graduating.
- Candidates must have completed two years of study in their program.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
- As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Relocation is not available for this position.
- Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
- This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Colorado Springs, CO. The selected candidate must be available to work in Colorado Springs, CO on a scheduled basis.
