- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality control processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and improve process efficiency.
- Perform inspections, audits, and tests on aircraft components, systems, and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, including inspection plans, procedures, and reports, to support traceability and compliance.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers to address quality-related concerns, facilitate inspections, and ensure effective communication and resolution of quality issues.
- Participate in design and manufacturing reviews to provide quality input and ensure compliance with engineering specifications.
- Utilize statistical analysis tools and techniques to monitor and analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, such as AS9100 or ISO 9001, to ensure regulatory compliance and certification.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging quality control practices to enhance knowledge and contribute to process improvements.
- 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, aerospace or aviation industry is a plus
- Strong knowledge of aerospace quality standards and regulations, such as AS9100, FAA, or EASA requirements.
- Proficiency in using quality tools and methodologies, such as root cause analysis, statistical process control, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience conducting inspections, audits, and tests on aircraft components, systems, or structures.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and documentation requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply analytical thinking to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Knowledge of CFR Part 21 is a plus
- Competitive Base Salary: $70,000 - $85,000
