HVAC Technician ** OCONUS

- Perform scheduled periodic maintenance and seasonal overhaul on systems and components to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Performs planning activities, and facility surveys.
- Manages HVAC/R fuel emissions and refrigerant handling programs and activities to support various ACCOM II systems.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Formal HVAC/R training such as: military technical training school, vocational college, and/or a four (4) year apprentice program with experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair.
- Four (4) years of practical experience with equipment the technician will maintain.
- Must have applicable CFC/EPA certification such as Section 608 Certification (Universal).
- Must be skilled in the use of hand and power tools common to trade.
- Ability to interpret and apply codes, blueprints, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings is required.
- Must have knowledge of operation / installation of a variety of complete HVAC systems / equipment.
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD SEVENTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
