We have developed a product specifically for last-mile scheduling and routing, called Delivery. Delivery solves a complex real-time and continuous route optimization problem at large scale. Our niche target market is large grocery, furniture, general merchandise, building materials and tool delivery companies who offer delivery time slot choice for their customers. We are proud of our first use case of this complex optimisation concept applied at . Satalia is continuing to grow the customer base for the Delivery product, which in turn fuels the continued growth of the product team.The Product Manager will join an already established team and will be responsible for leading product development in the space covering the UI and API of scheduling process, network and resources (vehicles, drivers, speed profiles etc) management, trip execution, user management, user documentation and training etc.Our projects can be a combination of consultancy services and product development so it would be ideal if the candidate had past experience in building technology solutions for logistics. As a product manager, you will bring a product mindset to the team, and foster a product culture in a complex consulting environment. You will be responsible for working with the technical teams to effectively design and develop solutions that create the value our clients desire.It is a great time to be joining as the industry transforms itself in what we believe is a generational moment for technology and AI.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Product Development: Lead the development and enhancement of the product while managing timely delivery of the roadmap together with the Engineering team.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a product roadmap outlining the vision, goals, and timeline for product development and releases. Proactively communicate the roadmap and its development progress internally and externally with customers.
  • Prioritisation: Prioritise features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market demands, and business objectives.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the subject matter expert of last-mile delivery product and market internally as well as externally (business partners and customers).
  • Market Research: Stay up to date with customer needs, industry trends, emerging technologies and competitive offerings in the last-mile delivery space.
  • Requirement and Feedback Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales and account management teams, industry experts and client consultants, to gather requirements for new features and improvements, gather feedback about new releases for continuous improvements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, optimisation science, design, routing, service management, marketing and sales to ensure alignment and successful execution of product sales and development initiatives.
  • User Experience (UX) Design: Partner with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Quality Assurance: Together with Tech and Team leads oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that the product releases meet high standards of reliability, performance, and security.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and impact of product initiatives, and inform roadmap priorities.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Stay informed about relevant regulations and compliance standards related to delivery operations.
  • Documentation: Develop user documentation and training materials for users and internal teams. Support marketing and sales with required product collateral.
  • Support: together with the engineering and account management team act as a point of contact for resolving support desk issues.
  • Consultancy: Know your customers very well and be ready to engage in consultancy initiatives to improve our customer's operations/ offerings/ technologies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
  • 3+ years of Product management experience ideally in Logistics space
  • Experience of B2B product development
  • Good client facing experience
  • Have an experience with the software development lifecycle
  • Good knowledge of Agile delivery methodology
  • Good knowledge of UX and UI methodologies
  • Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent negotiation skills to resolve competing priorities
  • Hands on and flexible attitude towards rapidly changing landscape
