- Issue and maintain consultant task orders.
- Manage subcontractor invoicing in collaboration w/Contract Manager, assist w/sub-contract management.
- Receive and process contract modifications.
- Maintain contract documentation (Contract Notebooks) in accordance with company policies and practices.
- Make recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies
- Assist or complete contract management reports for client or internal company-use as assigned (i.e. Personnel Roster; Mgmt. of Positions Report, etc.) Contract Financial Management
- Interface with Controller/Accounting Department regarding cost reporting issues, deliverables and other reporting requirements; prepare contract invoices
- Assist in the preparation and management of contract budgets; monitor budget expenditures authorized; oversee budget for conformance to funding; track monthly financial execution and analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance; identify budget and execution trends and recommend improvements accordingly
- Evaluate operating records and financial statements; prepare studies, reports and analyses in areas such as budgets, forecasts, financial plans, governmental requirements, statistical reports, cash flow projection and business forecasts
- Develop spreadsheets and databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future Division plans and forecasts
- Coordinate with all levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize and prepare recommendations regarding contract and financial plans, trended future requirements, Government requirements and operating forecasts
- Assist the Controller/Accounting Department in the development of the budget, planning and other corporate financial requirements
- Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise other employees.
- The position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these activities.
- Supervisory responsibilities are executed in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Financial Management, or related field OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Three years progressively responsible experience in Government contract management, business management and/or accounting.
- Must be able to comprehend and apply laws and regulations applicable to business operations in a Government contracting environment.
- Familiarity with government contracting processes through prior work experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Previous experience with HR Solutions IDIQ contracts
- Prior experience with budget management within a professional setting.
- Demonstrated experience with military family support programs
- This position requires access to U.S. Government facilities and systems. U.S. Citizenship, a valid driver's license, transportation, and auto insurance are required.
