We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX nSequence in Reno, NV is hiring a Full-Time CAD CAM Technician.The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday (4-ten hour shifts), and subject to change from time to time.This is a full-time position featuring employee benefits including: health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; paid holiday, vacation, and sick time; 401K with company contribution; and tuition reimbursement!Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
  • Segmentation to isolate relevant anatomy (bone, teeth, metal, existing implants, etc.) in a CT scan using Mimics Innovation suite. Overlay and alignment of digitized dental impressions over CT scan to simulate existing dentition.
  • Checking incoming CT scans to see if they follow our CT scan protocol and to see if they are free of disqualifying distortion from patient movement, scatter, and/or various other sources.
  • Notifying doctors and practices of scan and other record rejections, reasons for said rejections, and possible solutions moving forward via email and/or phone call.
  • Helping customers with technical details and instruction on digitally uploading scans, digital impressions, and other necessary records; as well as instruction of and about our CT protocol.
  • Generation of Implant reports using planning software that details implant brand, implant size, surgical sleeve size and prolongation for Doctor approved cases.
  • Creating and editing Surgical Sequence reports from plans set by GTM technician and doctor(s) that detail appropriate drills, handles, drill depths, and other steps in sequential order.
  • Organizing case pans on our shelves by case entry date and upcoming surgery dates and whether the case is an NSQGP or not.
  • Checking the daily schedule with admin, segmentation team, and GTM technicians to make sure that all of the GTM technicians’ cases are segmented and the case pans in their offices.
  • All other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Data entry and computer skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • CAD/3D modeling experience preferred
Education : High School or Equivalent
