- Provide faculty and student instruction, consultation and support in allied health disciplines
loan and & document delivery, NIH Public Access Policy, Data Management Plans and
other federal mandates, and some work on literature reviews.
- Support health informatics, data services, information literacy & evidence-based Health
- Both positions will split some time between Seton Hall's main library in South Orange and
Communication teams., including OER resources.
- Both positions will participate in library and other committees that would grow outreach to
undergraduate and graduate students.
- Engage with professional organizations, research, or publishing that will have a significant,
- Commitment to supporting the Catholic Mission of the University and Servant Leadership.
- One librarian position will work function as site (facility) manager, the other librarian will
- MLS or MI from an ALA-accredited graduate program.
- Experience in clinical or academic medical librarianship, or as a nursing liaison and with
demonstrated
subject knowledge in the SHMS and CON fields.
- Experience providing health information tools (LibGuides or the equivalent) and research
skills
using databases, datasets, and data visualization tools.
- Evidence of a strong commitment to student-centered services.
- Evidence of excellent oral and written communication, teaching, analytical skills, and
- Ability to manage work priorities and outreach across the two different campuses and work
- Commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion in our workplace, as well as in the
- Knowledge of Quantitative and Qualitative research methods.
- Proficiency in common tools used by researchers who work within health sciences
