Your work will be the code behind the message and will play an integral role in all digital executions.Duties and responsibilities:
Own all technical responsibilities of developing stellar Wordpress/Optimisley websites/microsites for ERM Shelton and our clients.
Work with the design team, copywriter team, account team, the digital team and external web agencies to plan, build, and execute modern responsive websites and digital experiences.
Communicate with internal and external clients in a way that demonstrates technical acumen and builds confidence and trust.
Find problems and fix them.
Maintain and update the Shelton ERM and client websites.
Bring best practices and creative solutions to every project.
Requirements:
3+ years (5+ years preferred) experience coding WordPress websites.
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
Familiarity with common plugins, addons, and themes for Wordpress.
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to convert comprehensive layout (from Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or Sketch) and wireframes (from moqups or similar) into working HTML pages.
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
Strong understanding of PHP back-end development.
Knowledge of web analytics tools, particularly the Google Analytics suite (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager).
Development for marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, Insightly and Pardot along with email suites like Mailchimp.
General understanding of SEO (on-site, off-site, technical) best practices
Experience optimizing user data base.
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security.
Bonus points for:
Experience working with page builders like Divi and Beaver Builder.
UX/UI Design competencies - If you are a designer on top of being a first-class developer, you move to the front of the line.
HTML and animated banner/ad development.
Understanding of marketing tactics, strategies, and best practices.
Experience developing interactive wireframes and user flows, ensuring alignment with project goals and user requirements.
