So, if you want to make the world say wow, let's talk.Your role:The Business Intelligence Analyst handles the local data of Sony Switzerland & Austria and drives maximum automation of the reporting, using Power BI and Power Automate to collect and retrieve data, crafting valuable business insights and analysis for our Sales and Marketing team. About half of your role will be dedicated to support our data-driven Retail Activation team, where speed and flexibility is highly important.Your responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for the reporting transition from Excel to Power BI for Switzerland and Austria. This includes structuring our local data, automate the ingestion into the data lake, develop retrieval methods to Power BI and Excel, data model creation and visual report design.
  • Propose and facilitate improvements and reporting automation based on requirement analysis (identify, analyse, categorise, prioritise) for the Sales, Marketing and Retail Activation departments.
  • Own and drive the monthly business planning process to ensure timeliness and quality in the work from the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Maintain and further develop Excel-based calculation models and tools for business planning and pricing.
  • Hands-on support to your colleagues to get the maximum out of the tools and reports.
  • Respond to ad hoc data requests, quickly understand the needs, and determine the best and most robust way to provide the data in its business context.
  • Day-to-day operational management of our SharePoint sites.
Your profile:The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of the end-to-end processes in a sales and marketing company, and preferably a flair for consumer electronics products.To add value to the data itself, it is important that you can grasp the reality behind the data, understand what the numbers mean to the business and bring your analysis to the table.The key technical requirements for the job are centric on Microsoft business intelligence tools, primarily Power BI, Power Automate and Excel, and you need to be familiar with the Power BI data model, Power Query and DAX to build efficient and effective visualisations of the data. Knowledge of SAP Analysis for Office and VBA for Excel will be an advantage.Your report visuals look magnificent, they combine different data sources to provide new insights and are easy to use for the community.You thrive in an environment where you will flexibly change between accurately organising our data, working on long-term improvement projects, and responding to short-term requests for data and insights.
