Job Description:Senior Mechanical Engineer – Piping & UtilityGreenville, SCWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer, experienced in piping, to join well-respected leader in design, construction, & delivery of complex industrial manufacturing & distribution facilities. This role will specialize in Piping & Utility Systems to prepare & manage design packages across Fortune 500 client projects.Responsibilities:· Prepare and manage design packages for industrial manufacturing & distribution facilities.· Specialize & provide expertise in piping & utility systems.· Facilitate and/or lead teams in a multi-discipline design environment, as well as support construction and field operations as needed.· Assist in developing client relationships as needed.Requirements:· Active PE Registration Required. Will consider applicants without PE if “close” to having one (ex: taking the test within a few months).· Bachelor’s Degree or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field.· Expertise with industrial process piping systems, to include studies, calculations, stress analysis, equipment specs, and subcontractor bid reviews.· Familiarity with jacketed piping, hot oil systems, and B31.3 code is desired.· Experience with CAESAR II and AutoCAD is preferred.· 15+ years of design experience preferred.· Professional presentation and communication skills, and the ability to develop client relationships.· Comfort in leading teams in a multi-discipline design environment, as well as supporting construction and field operations as required.Benefits:· Competitive compensation based on experience.· Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, ESOP, and 401k match.· Flexible scheduling and 4.5-day work week· Paid overtime (if/when applicable).
