1st Shift Sheet Metal Press Brake Operator

- Setup and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to blueprint specifications.
- Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job.
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed.
- Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions.
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines.
- Understands how to manage daily work expectations and goals.
- Follows all safety policies and standards.
- Capable and willing to train other employees.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- 3-5 years’ experience operating press brake machines.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and interpreting GD&T symbols.
- The individual must have exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes.
- Must possess the ability to operate overhead cranes, tape measure, caliper, basic hand tools and air tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist.
