- Ensure profitability and performance of the parts department.
- Ensure conformity with FAA regulatory requirements.
- Oversee inventory management and control, including core and warranty procedures.
- Mentor and train parts team members.
- Prepare reports on progress, purchase commitments, and budget forecasts.
- Implement internal programs for communication, training, work simplification, and cost reduction.
- Coordinate with vendors for parts procurement and negotiate pricing.
- Monitor outside vendors for on-time delivery.
- Perform receiving inspection of parts to ensure conformity with FAA regulations.
- Process purchase orders and coordinate shipping.
- Maintain certified and traceable parts per repair station manual guidelines.
- Coordinate part status with technicians and customers.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain stock requirements.
- Ensure accurate billing of parts to work orders.
- All other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous work experience with aircraft parts and inventory management required.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
