In the future, if it ever made sense to sell or partner with another company, you’d share in the sale proceeds.Job Description: Our Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall profitability and performance of the parts department. This role involves ensuring conformity with FAA regulatory requirements, managing Inventory, coordinating with vendors for parts procurement, training, and mentoring parts team members, and preparing reports on progress and departmental budget forecasts.Benefits:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure profitability and performance of the parts department.
  • Ensure conformity with FAA regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee inventory management and control, including core and warranty procedures.
  • Mentor and train parts team members.
  • Prepare reports on progress, purchase commitments, and budget forecasts.
  • Implement internal programs for communication, training, work simplification, and cost reduction.
  • Coordinate with vendors for parts procurement and negotiate pricing.
  • Monitor outside vendors for on-time delivery.
  • Perform receiving inspection of parts to ensure conformity with FAA regulations.
  • Process purchase orders and coordinate shipping.
  • Maintain certified and traceable parts per repair station manual guidelines.
  • Coordinate part status with technicians and customers.
  • Perform inventory counts and maintain stock requirements.
  • Ensure accurate billing of parts to work orders.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous work experience with aircraft parts and inventory management required.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
